I have also come across a few blogs with very little or no comments for support and failed to comment myself. I guess part of me just doesn't want to "intrude." But with this new discussion time you are starting, this would be a great way to reach out to others suffering with loss. And hopefully find solace by coming here. I will definitely pass this on as I continue to read about others in this "group." XOXO
I have read so many stories since I found your blog a little over a week ago. I too have been reluctant to post comments mainly because I have not been introduced, I feel shy about announcing myself. Under the tree we can get acquainted and reach out to each other. We just need an icebreaker. Thanks Carly. I am telling all the "lost baby mamas" I know.
Carly, This idea is lovely. When I changed the title of my blog to "With Outstretched Arms" the symbolism pertained to reaching out to God for the gift of a child, as well as the "Arms" of a tree! For many months I posted different trees for my header. I still think it is a beautiful symbol of life as well. ♥ Heather
You know I'll be here every Friday. I always watch for blogs from your names site, to meet other momma's in our situation. I'm still in the category you speak of, with little or no comments. I have been trying to reach out and be reached out to as well. Wonderful ideas. I just think you're so great Carly. You and all the people I've 'met' from Australia seem to be so warm and loving (maybe it's all the sunshine on your heads all year!). I love you, Lindsay
What a wonderful idea Carly...in time I may make my thoughts & journal public, but in the meantime, it'll be wonderful to learn from and share with others coping with this painful journey.
Your blog site is so beautiful, as is your photography and writing. I am drawn to nature, finding so much healing an inspiration in her. Your vision of a tree as a place to find support and love calls to me. Thank you for creating such a beautiful idea and inviting others to take part. See you under the blossoms!
What a beautiful blog site you have. I found it the other day and haven't stopped looking at it! Reading Christian's story was so sad but also it gave me hope and inspiration. I will definitely be under the tree next time.
I just happened upon this through Caitlin's mom's blog (A Fifth Season), and I am so happy to have found it!! Thank you so much for creating this beautiful, safe place for us with tender, aching hearts to gather. I can't wait to start participating in these "Under the Tree" posts. I may decide to go ahead and try to catch up, rather than wait till April. :) I am inspired by the hope and light you are bringing to others through the love you have for Christian. He is truly a special little boy!
I know I am late but I have finally post my responses at my blog. I posted both Febuary and March. I love your blog. I love Christian's sweet story. Thanks for all you do for us. You a such an amazing person.
Again a wonderful idea, Carly. I will participate in your gathering on a german blogsite where bereaved mothers do collectively write about their losses. The answers are in english and the site has a web translator: http://sternenkinderbruecke.blogspot.com/search/label/under%20the%20tree
I just read Christian's story and I am grateful that there are other people out there that have felt the same way I have. If you or anyone else would like to read about my baby boy Zack his story is on our blog. www.bolivianosunidos.blogspot.com (the links are on the side) Thank you!

I would soooo love to participate!
First, I'd like to share your call out to other moms on our Kotapress.blogspot.com zine.
Second, I'd like to participate just as one of the moms through my own blog at MotherHenna.blogspot.com if that's okay?
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful vision with us, Carly! I'm very excited to participate...

Thank you Carly what a wonderful idea.
It feels good when someone leaves a comment on your blog or website. It shows us that we are not alone in our journey.
